Peerless Selolwane calls time on eventful career

A life changing deft turn and strike against South Africa marked a mazy journey through success for an unassuming Diphetogo ‘Dipsy’ Selolwane. But beneath the wonder strike and the fame that followed is a litany of heart-stopping moments which could have halted a dream which began in Extension II in Gaborone. Selolwane overcame asthma at a tender age only to be dogged by a career threatening injury. In between, there was a punch from a Mozambique player and the unwanted record of being substituted hardly five minutes on the pitch.
