Phiri is lying - Moalosi

Township Rollers’ attacking midfielder, Edwin Moalosi has dismissed claims that he called TAFIC defender, Samuel Phiri, a mokwerekwere and insulted his parents.

Phiri slapped Moalosi during their clash on Tuesday and later claimed the Rollers player had insulted him. The incident sparked a brawl with saw two Rollers players, Joel Mogorosi and Mthokozisi Msomi also receiving marching orders for their violent reaction.

Moalosi, through his Facebook page today denied ever provoking Phiri. He said, instead, he had asked the referee to ensure that Phiri quickly leaves the pitch after he had received the red card.
