On Saturday, they organised another tournament in Tlokweng, which featured Second Division side, Mogobane United as well as Sua Flamingoes and former Premier League giants, Notwane. The previous weekend they organised a tournament featuring Mochudi Centre Chiefs, Security Systems and Extension Gunners.

Lotlaamoreng said he was partly happy with how his side played on Saturday despite going down 2-1 in the final against second division side, Mogobane United. “Such tournaments are very important to us because they give us a shape physically. They also give us an opportunity to try combinations ahead of the season and despite missing several players today, I am happy that we were able to try out other combinations. We lost probably because of the attitude of the players because they underestimated their opponents in the final,” Lotlaamoreng said after the final game.  Police XI, despite missing the likes of Betsho Pius, still managed to show glimpses of brilliance with the likes of David Makakaba and Katlego Masole looking sharper ahead of the start of the season.
