Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) chairperson, Solly Reikeletseng has resigned with immediate effect, due to personal matters.

Reikeletseng has been at the helm of BNSC for eight years, but dropped the bombshell on Thursday morning.  He said he did not want personal issues to affect the running of the BNSC.

This is a conscious decision arrived at because of the love I have for sport and I would not allow any of my personal and business arrangements to affect the work that has been done by men and women of this country for more than five decades,Ó he said.
