On Saturday, Masitaoka were the better side in the first half and Rockie Nkwe scored from a set piece in the 28th minute after he was tackled from behind by Rolling Boys' John Molefinyane. After the goal, Masitaoka maintained pressure on the Boys defence, but were let down by their strikers who wasted a number of golden opportunities.
The game went into recess with Masitaoka leading 1-0. In the second half, Rolling Boys came back hungrier than Masitaoka, equalising in the 51st minute with winger Mpho Junior Gaboditsewe squeezing the ball past Masitaoka keeper Lucky Mokgosi. The young Junior continued terrorizing the Masitaoka defence, and tearing apart their midfield with his dribbling and dangerous passes. On the 63rd minute, he passed the ball to Olefile Lodia who wasted no time in making it 2-1 in favour of Rolling Boys. While Junior continued to orchestrate a string of passes, the Rolling Boys defence also proved too solid for Masitaoka strikers to crack. Boys' goalkeeper Mmoloki Sedimo also brilliantly denied Masitaoka several chances at goal. Striker Gomolemo Ramaabya pinned the last nail on Masitaoka's coffin with a curling ball after receiving a well executed pass from Junior.Masitaoka Coach Kabo Bolokwe told The Monitor Sport after the game, "We were playing well in the first half, but by the second half we were very exhausted because we did not train well after the holidays. Some of my players came back late from the holidays". In other games Gantsi Terrors and Black Peril played to a one all draw. Black Forest and Jwaneng Comets also produced a similar result, Letlapeng 2- 1 Prisons, Fighters 1-0 Buffaloes.
