Work on the stalled Motlakase Stadium is expected to resume after a one-year hiatus. The Central District Council halted construction of the facility after it was found out that the space designated for parking was insufficient.

Besides, Motlakase Power Dynamos, the club behind the project, had financial constraints and could not sustain the construction.

Club chairperson, Samuel Kealotswe said they used a lot of money to fund the team's constant travels as they had no suitable venue in Palapye.
