Hogs registered a 17-8 victory against UB Rhinos. Speaking to Sport Monitor after the game, Lees said he was very happy with the performance of his players.
"We are trying to introduce a new game plan this season and work on the players' fitness levels and other aspects of the game such as diet. I am very pleased with my players. Hogs led 12-5 at half time with two tries to one of UB Rhinos. The second half kick started on a very high energy with Rhinos trying to get back into the match. Rhinos kept the fight going and scored their first point of the second half in the 41st minute. However, Hogs would soon after that make their presence felt and scored a try to close up the game on a final score of 17-8 in their favour.
