The National Stadium will not be available for the Gaborone derby between giants, Gaborone United and Township Rollers on May, 20.

The Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) issued a statement today informing the Botswana Football League that the National Stadium will be out of bounds on the said date as it is due to host the Botswana Defence Force Day.

The venue is not available to host Botswana Premier League games from Saturday 13th of May until further notice. "The stadium will then go through a recovery process. We will advise how long the process will take after an assessment of the pitch has been done after the event," the BNSC said in a statement. It is uncertain if the venue will host the semi finals of the Orange FA Cup on May 27.
