The Lucara Botswana Netball league games for the South region continued this past weekend at the Mogoditshane SSKB grounds with some mouth-watering fixtures including a clash between Notwane ladies and the Vipers ladies.

The matches were initially scheduled to take place on September 17 but were postponed to this past weekend. Both Notwane and Vipers came into the match having played four games each in the league and each having accumulated four points.

However, the Notwane ladies held the edge over their opponents because of a superior goal difference. Notwane had a goal difference of nine while Vipers had minus six. Notwane showed early intentions of chasing maximum points, dominating the Vipers ladies throughout the first quarter. At the end of the first quarter, Notwane were carrying a 15-8 lead.
