Ogopotse wins big in FA Cup awards

The Orange FA Cup awards ceremony was held immediately after a final match tie between Systems and Gaborone United (GU). Ogopotse won the Player of the Tournament award bagging a P40,000 pay cheque.
He was nominated alongside teammate, Benson Mangolo and GU’s Thato Kebue. Ogopotse also walked away with top goal scorer after scoring five goals in five matches. He is tied on goals with Eleven Angels striker, Monty Enosa who notched in five goals for the award that carries a P25,000 prize money.
GU’s Ookeditse Semelamela won the goalkeeper of the tournament and won himself P25,000 while Innocent Morapedi won the coach of the tournament and a P10,000 pay cheque.
Thabang Ketshabile and Thuto Maswabi won the referee and assistant referee accolades respectively and each won P10,000. The Reds on the night won P700,000 for claiming the Orange FA Cup honours while Systems won P350,000.
