FRANCISTOWN: TAFIC coach, Mohambi Saulosi has responded to reports that he has been sacked by the First Division North log leaders.

There has been swelling speculation that Saulosi has lost his job after he failed to submit a technical report.

Saulosi missed the club’s weekend clash against Sankoyo Bush Bucks. After the match, TAFIC chairperson, Tumelo Toteng rebuffed suggestions that the club has sacked the coach. He said that the coach has attended a coaching course in Jwaneng and will be back.

But Saulosi contradicted his chairperson’s position. “I had misunderstanding with the executive and I was asked to temporarily step aside. They (executive) said they will get back to me. I am waiting for a response,” said Saulosi adding that he could not share much details surrounding his misunderstanding with the club leadership. Saulosi did admit that he is attending a CAF-A coaching course in Jwaneng. Assistant coaches Mmoloki Sechele and Lovemore Mokgweetsi presided over the Sankoyo clash.

However, it was evident that the supporters are not happy with the duo. The general feeling is that none of the two is competent to take over from Saulosi.
