After announcing that it had parted ways with their previous head coach, Thabo ‘Mahala’ Motang, this morning through a press statement, Township Rollers FC have revealed their new coach. Motang’s replacement is a Portuguese national, Sergio Daniel Moniz Traquill.

The 42 year old who has previously coached in Ghana takes up the job immediately.

“He will be joined in the technical team by Eduardo Lazaro Leiva from Cuba, as performance specialist. We wish all the happy people a prosperous new year,” reads the statement of the coaches appointment in part.

Yesterday, ‘popa popa ya ipopa’ management announced that they had agreed to amicably part ways with Motang.
