South African football legends and their Botswana counterparts who will meet in an international friendly scheduled for tomorrow have been unveiled.

The two sides will lock horns tomorrow as part of Botswana’s Independence celebrations.

The game is scheduled to take place at the National Stadium with the kickoff set for 3pm. During a meet and greet session organised by the Ministry of Youth, Sport, Gender and Culture yesterday, the two captains, Doctor Khumalo for South Africa and Diphetogo Selolwane for Botswana, introduced their squads ahead of the encounter. The South African team includes, Delron Buckley, Edward Motale, Themba Mguni, Jerry Skhosana, Japie Motale and Mthokosize Yende among others. The Botswana squad also has some of legendary names in local football including the 2012 Zebras heroes among them Jerome Ramatlhakwana, Phenyo Mongala, Pontsho Moloi and Joel Mogorosi.

The team also comprises of some of the familiar names which formed part of the national team under the tutelage of Jelusic Veselin including Nelson ‘Viola’ Gabolwelwe, Ernest Amos, Masego Nchingane and Kagiso Tshelametsi while the early 90s heroes including Scara Kebalepile, City Senne and Mmoloki ‘BB’ Sechele also form part of Botswana legends. Former Mares captain, Bonang ‘Bebeto’ Mosetlha is the only woman in the team.
