A couple of day’s back they even cornered me into buying a bag, and for a while I didn’t get an opportunity to make them. I couldn’t tell you why I delayed so much because this dish comes together in no time at all and is far from complex.
I believe that the flavour comes from the mussels themselves and you really do not have to do much to bring the dish together. Garlic, butter and lemon are a holy trinity of seafood, and are a flavour combination composition that I have learnt and come to appreciate over the past few years of being intentional in the kitchen. These Garlic Butter Mussels are hard to share and full of flavour! This Garlic Butter Mussels recipe seems like it could be much harder, but it really takes less than 20 minutes to throw together! Besides instantly feeling like you’re at a seafood restaurant without having gone anywhere. This is a great dish to make as a treat or even as a date night with the family like we did.
